The Longhorns look to bounce back and even up the series against BYU on a later than normal Friday start. The Horns have lost 3 consecutive Big 12 series game ones (Baylor, Kansas State, and BYU), but the Horns will hope to emulate their previous game two performances as they battered both Baylor and Kansas State. On the bump, Ace Whitehead will look to bounce back after a rough performance against Kansas State in which he gave up 5 runs in 5 IP. Offensively, the Horns need to get more consistency throughout the lineup instead of getting one or two guys going, and the rest failing to get timely hits. This will be especially vital for a lineup that has three true freshman (Gasparino, Farmer, and Kennedy) in it.
