The Texas Longhorns have already secure their third SEC series of the season and will not look to get their second sweep in the SEC, which would be their second road sweep.

Horns certainly will be challenged again with Adrian Rodriguez, Max Belyeu, and Rylan Galvan out of the lineup, all due to injuries or for precautionary reasons in the second game of the double header.

#7 TEXAS LONGHORNS v. Missouri Tigers
Date: March 29

Saturday (March 29th) - Game One - 2pm CT
Saturday (March 29th) - Game Two - 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game One

Records:
Texas Longhorns: 21-3 (6-1 SEC)
Missouri Tigers: 9-15 (0-7 SEC)

LETS PLAY DOS! Due to inclement weather anticipated on Sunday, there will be two 9 inning games today between Texas and Missouri.

The Tigers enter the game looking for their first SEC win of the season and to erase the 7 inning run rule beat down yesterday, while the Horns look to continue their hot streak and not only win a series, but potentially sweep a series.

INJURY UPDATE - RF Max Belyeu will not be playing in either game today against Missouri after injuring his wrist/thumb area last night on the diving catch late in the game. That will certainly be something to watch over the next few days leading up to the Georgia series.

This weekend, we are doing it a little differently. One giant thread. There will be notes at the top indicating where the next game starts and all that jazz so folks don't get lost, but it will be one big thread of fun this weekend. If you like the format, let me know. If you hate the format, let me know. If you don't care - don't say a word :)

Missouri Tigers: 9-14 (0-6 SEC)

RPI/SOS
Texas: 20 / 83
Missouri: 202 / 115

Prediction:
  • I really struggle with this one. Sweeping on the road is not easy and as I noted earlier, winning in Columbia for Texas has been tough. Sweeping on the road in the SEC is tough. So I am going to go with a 2-1 record
    • On the season, I am 17-6 on the season with my predictions
