In this day and age of the transfer portal, it is hard not to focus on the players that left. Since our basketball team seems to be going nowhere slow I thought I would take a look at the four players that transferred from Texas.

PG Tyrese Hunter (#18 Memphis): 15 ppg; 3.5 assists; 4 rebounds; 1.5 steals; 2.5 turnovers; 44% FG%; and 44% from 3 (WTF?!?!?). It seems his issue with cramping has been cleared up. He is clearly playing well.

PF Dillon Mitchell (Cincinnati): 10 ppg; 3.5 rebounds (way down); 4 assists (way up); and 41% FG%. His numbers look exactly like what we saw for two years. I am worried he is just never going to develop unfortunately. I used to love his energy, intensity, and athleticism. We could use those traits off the bench this season. But Kaluma >>>> Mitchell.

SG Chris Johnson (SFA): He has been hurt most of the year and has only played in 3 games. 11 ppg; 4 rebounds, 2 assists; and 2 of 13 from deep. Update (Thanks @DFWHorn214) He and SFA have parted ways and parted ways early.

PF Alex Anamekwe (Lubbock Christian): 7 ppg; 3 rebounds; and he is 7 of 18 from 3.

Max Abmas is on the Utah Jazz's G league team. Dylan Disu is on the Toronto Raptor's G league team.
