Fire the only reason we have a top recruiting class coming in to replace our misused & underdeveloped previous classes? Yeah, that would definitely help out our progress back from under the doormat.

Care to elaborate your reasoning? We had 1 year under Herman that that equaled an average year under M Brown. Other than that...doormat.
Let's say Sark were to be fired. What big name coach would dare come within 50miles of UT? We fired a HOF HC for 2 poor years, followed by the 2 hottest rising stars then Sark after showing remarkable improvement year over year? I believe we'd ensure another 10yrs at or sub .500. Obviously slinging $$ at coaches is not the answer anymore.
Sark is not the problem, in fact, we really don't have a problem, with the exception of the QB position which, not many people on here even seem to realize. Ye of little faith! I guess all the other coaches since Mack Brown were the problem also? I like where we are at and where we are headed. Sark was right. Our culture has been the problem and we finally have a coach that is fixing that. I'm wondering what kind of comments we get on here next year when we are even better than this year. I'm sure someone will find something to complain about. I believe in our Team for a change. Finally!! Its been a very long time.....

Biggest problem we have is moron posters. I won't mention any names....and for that I am sure Dan H is greatful...
Let me tell you a few things about Loreal Sarkisian his wife. She was an athlete in college and was a successful in her own life before she even met her husband.
And as far as the sodomy thing goes being an accomplished athlete she'd probably kick you ass.

Good lord. There's coaches out there where losing their temper is status quo. Sark tells a beta to keep his f-ing hands off him mfer, and now we should can him?
F THAT! If anything, I though Sark was a bit too subdued and I'm glad we finally witnessed our dog growl for once. He isn't the 2nd coming of football Jesus but I like our projection so far.

I wanted Dykes because he had SMU competing against much more talented teams and his deep state of Texas ties from his Dad .
Dykes had a lower winning percentage than Sark before he was hired at TCU. Nobody Anticipated the success he’s having this season. The real test will be next season to see if he can replicate it with a bunch of new faces. The team this year was assembled by Patterson mostly.
I don’t get why the media is portraying it as if Dykes should have been some no brainer hire.

And then those pesky facts arrived. And it turned out (like we were trying to tell ol' Dan all along) that he was wrong.

And for this, Dan deserves all the chiding he gets. See, Dan and the majority of the $9.95ers who ventured down here to bump their gums were certain they had this all figured out. And now, they look like a quadriplegic with a rubics cube.
