Any number of excuses-- there are some people that are easily offended. Some folks just aren't mentally tough. Some people simply have to play the roll of victim-- they don't know any other way. Some folks are just miserable people- their life is sad and they want everyone else to be miserable as well. Then there's the ever present "busy body" that has to stick their nose in places it doesn't belong.

I do not agree that everyone has the inalienable right to not be offended. Even if I saw logic in that I still would be amazed that one has the right to go to any lengths to find something to be offended at
