I just spoke with New Mexico Military Institute teammates Edmond Boateng and the Longhorns are hoping to bring both guys in this week. A little info ...

Boateng was fully qualified coming out of high school so he'll have three years of eligibility left to play. He already has a visit to Cincinnati for December 11-13 and Arizona State for December 13-15. Texas wanted to get him in for the banquet weekend (December 13-15) but Boateng is going to stick with his ASU visit. However, he may move the Cincinnati visit and instead come to Austin Wednesday-Friday. He's going to enroll at the school of his choice in January so Boateng is trying to work to a quick decision.

Ayeni will visit Texas for the banquet weekend. He also has trips set up to West Virginia and Northern Illinois for January. He lists a top four of Texas, South Alabama, Northern Illinois and WVU.

Oscar Giles visited both players on Sunday. We'll have full reports on both players posted later tonight or on Monday morning.

FYI, per a source, neither player has been offered. Not yet anyway. That could change during their visits but nothing's on the table yet.
