Wheres the spot? Can I post up my ride at gate 10 parking lot and pound a few?

No, I don't think there is any tailgating outside Fair Park. You will not want to do that. The neighborhood is considered the 6th most dangerous in the USA per the FBI. Go INSIDE the State Fair. It's expensive but better than outside.

I’m from Argyle homie I am deep in the streets. You really can’t post up and fire up a grill and crank some Scarface or UGK with a few lone stars?

TYA my man. Take photos for us. If you've got some level 3 Kevlar, I would suggest it.

Grew up in the DFW I’m well aware of fair park. I didn’t know if there would be tailgaiting or if the scene was all inside the fair.

It's always been inside. That is the attraction. Go get a Fletchers and a Coors Light. Enjoy the fat sooner scene.

Haha really being scared of outside of fair park? I have stories but I'm not telling

Not scared but it's not a good place to tailgate. You're asking to get robbed or shot. I was robbed in Dallas 3 months ago while getting gas. The dpd doesn't chase down leads anymore unless someone is killed. I filled a report and got one return call. The detective does not answer or return my calls. Dallas has really gone down hill and fair park can be dicey. I have had vehicle issues while at the fair as well. You'll likely have to park in someone's yard and pulling out the smoker and a keg...

Man I've tailgated hard outside fair park many a time. There's plenty tailgating going on. I wouldn't park in someones front yard and tailgate, but one of the big gated parking lots would be fine. A lot of people do it. You can also buy parking passes on stub hub ahead of time. I haven't done this in about 5 years though so take it FWIW.

Got a pass for the gate 10 lot. Going to pound out a case with some buddies and head into the fair. I have a lot of street cred. We should be ok.

(Checks that Glock 19 is oiled and loaded and then check backup .357 sig to make sure it has hollowpoints)

Nice combination for concealment, reliability and firepower....Pancho approves....

Take your rain gear. Weather forecast is calling for rain.

If you get a chance, check out a CZ 75 compact. More metal than a glock, shoots better, feels better. Mine has a grip laser, tritium sights, and was slicked up at Cajun gunworks. Easily keeps a magazine full inside a dinner plate at 25 yards. But I don't think you can carry inside Fair Park.
