Had an Arizona source reach out to me about an hour ago to let me know the word in Tucson is that super senior DT Bill Norton, who announced his intentions to transfer on April 15th, is expected to transfer to Texas.

"The word is he's joining Nansen," the source said.

The 6-6, 325-pound Norton is a favorite of new Texas linebackers coach Johnny Nansen and recorded 32 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss last season as a starter at nose-tackle. Norton started his career with Georgia and transferred to Arizona in December of 2022.

Nansen joked last season that Norton didn't have any choice about coming back for another season under his watch.

It looks like the Longhorns could make that comment a prophecy.
