Conservatives told me systemic racism and discrimination doesn't exist. I wonder what else, the superintendent who is in charge of a bunch of schools, thinks about black people! Because clearly, there isn't any influence there, per right wingers!

According to the New York Post, a Facebook message, intended to be private, went public and now a Texas superintendent is left with 'total regret.'
Superintendent Lynn Redden of the Onalaska Independent School District targeted Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson in a Facebook post saying, "you can't count on a black quarterback."
The superintendent's post was referencing the quarterback's final play on Sunday where the quarterback held onto the ball instead of trying to make a field goal, potentially tying the game against the Tennessee Titans.
Texans lost with a final score of 20-17.
Redden's full comment is as follows: “That may have been the most inept quarterback decision I’ve seen in the NFL. When you need precision decision making you can’t count on a black quarterback.”
After realizing the post went public, Redden deleted it saying he had "total regret."
As superintendent, Redden oversees 1,130 students and 175 staff members.
So far, it has not been reported if Redden has faced any disciplinary action in connection to his remarks.
