I have a few friends that are going up to Austin to take in the tailgate scene for tomorrow's Texas v UTSA game. They were asking me what the parking and tailgate situation was like for non-ticket holders. I try to make it up to Austin once a year for a game and the tickets we get come with a parking pass so Im not sure what to tell them regarding parking. Are all the garages pay to park or do some only take permits? Are there any garages that I can suggest? Are most of the tailgates pretty open to strangers just walking up and hanging out?
