Am I pissed they lost? Yes. A 10+ lead with 5 minutes to go, you should not lose that. But we’re are talking Duke here. We love this recent class of McDonald Aa’s, but they have been doing it for year after year. Us? Just a year here and there. That makes a huge difference. I think this game will go a long way long term for the season.

Anyone have insight into why Smart didn't use 6 foot 10 inch James Banks or 6'8" Royce Hamm once Sims and Bamba were gone? That seemed like a strange coaching decision to me.
At this point, I would rather have Shaka coach the football team as well. He is light years better than Herman. Texas may very well become a basketball school.

Yeah. They are really good, and can play with anyone in the country. Gotta start playing hard for 40 mins though. Seems like it’s either a great first half or a great 2nd half. Tonight it was a great 30 mins or so... However it was a good road win, and nice to see Dylan O, Bamba and Davis knock down some shots and FT’s down the stretch to win.
Yep. If Coleman can add a consistent shot to his passing and court vision he’s gonna be a real stud. All of the top teams are gonna be hoping Texas isn’t in their bracket come March. I’m telling ya.

Rick is a good coach. Shaka is a good coach as well. Young team and losing the best scoring option is hard to overcome. UT has to hope Jones can come back for tournament time
Well, I’m pretty much off the Shaka train now. What an absolutely pathetic performance at home against the Kenpom 202nd-ranked team.
He is utterly clueless as an offensive coach. Plus shooters in high school turn to garbage here, and his half-court offense makes Rick Barnes look like John Beilein. Just terrible.
If Hoiberg or Donovan are available in April, Del Conte may seriously need to make a move.

Very disappointed with this game and Shaka not using his havoc which made him who he is. I know we got Bamba, but we can't even run a havoc with him. And our best shooter is out for who knows how long.
Oh snap Texas came out and played in a true road game against a decent Bama team, Texas was hitting their shots today a bunch of 3's
