Im convinced it is a staple of Orlando. This shit happens over and over. So it’s either coached and encouraged or ignored and allowed to continue.
Either way it is a Orlando/Herman issue

At this point who gives a shit. K State was a good team and we won. The run game looked really good for a change. On to Iowa State!
A lot of passing. Plus they got started a tad bit late.
I don't see Texas beating either Iowa State or Baylor on the road. Tech is a toss up at home. I think we end up 7-5. What a disappointment this season has been. 
I get what you're saying and understand. But when other teams pick up that film and see you struggling, there's less of an intimidation factor. I want us to be feared more than I want us to be respected.

A lot of frustrating moments but that was a good, much needed win. Time to grow a set of gorilla nuts for the rest of the season.
Glad to get a win. Winning is hard . . . but waaaaaaay harder when you for some uncanny reason, can’t capitalize off of turnovers EVER, continue to commit stupid penalties at the WORST moments, and turn it over in the red zone. Defense did some good things and some bad things.
Yes I understand and completely agree with you. Sam should have never made that stupid as “we’re back” comment after the sugar bowl win last year.
I had a feeling coming into the year defense was gonna be a problem with so many new faces. I think for the most part besides the TCU game the offense has been good enough for us to be 7-2 or possibly 8-1 at this point. The 2nd half of the game today was somewhat of a relief to see the defense play with a little spark. Maybe it will carry over into next week.

Where did I ever say that? Never said it. I thought that Texas would struggle with KSU, and they did. Hell, we were damn lucky to beat freakin' Kansas! Not being a pessimist. Just being realistic. This team isn't very good. That's the hard truth.

You get it. Something is wrong with this team and the coaches. Herman will be back next year, but major changes need to be made on the staff, starting with Orlando, Beck and Mehringer. More should probably be shown the door, but those three need to go for sure. Herman needs to be given some very specific goals to attain, and if he doesn't meet those goals after next season, he needs to be replaced.
Look I’m just as guilty for being negative too but to consider this year to be a loss at this point is just ridiculous. With an OU win over Baylor next week we control our own destiny for a shot to play in the CCG. Let’s just let the season play out and see if the coaches can right the ship before we write them off.

But one must readily admit that we win some of the ugliest fvcking games in college football. Just ugly ass wins.

I certainly understand your thoughts on this team,but historically Texas has all-time winning margins against these teams and Texas best game is yet to be played.They did come close to beating #1 LSU.KSU had a winning record all time against Texas but not today.Now,the players and coaches have made a ton of mistakes this year but I will wait till the games end to give my judgement on this group and coaches.I don't see Texas beating either Iowa State or Baylor on the road. Where are you pulling this from? I didn't think that Texas had a realistic shot to make the CFP this year. You assume a lot.

We could win out but we play too many close games and have to many stupid mistakes. Herman's style dictates that. I can't stand it when we get around our opponents 40yrdln and he either goes for it or tries a 55 yrd FG. We were down 7 already. try to pin them deep. don't give up field position at that point. We look incredibly undisciplined on all sides. Green should sit for more than the first half next week.
