Texas vs rapeu thread

West Virginia barely beat Baylor, 38-36. Texas should win that game.Texas Tech lost to West Virginia & Iowa State. Texas should beat them plus Kansas.

Damn....spent most of the morning with the CinC Ranch at the ER. Looks like she has several bulging disks in her back. No bueno...on the other hand, looks like we notched a pretty easy win and from what I saw, Young and Carter look to be a bright future for our backfield....

I'm in a crowded, noisy house of ill repute in Jalisco. Who was the personal foul on?

If you are in a house of ill-repute in Jalisco, there's a good chance you're watching the game with some of my cousins. Don't let them fool you @clob94, my Jalisco family can't speak English for crap....but tell my Tapatio primos and primas I said hola....

Here is a funny phrase, “college football career.” I just heard an announcer on FOX say that in reference to JT Barrett.

We played so spotty that I can't even take an enjoyable halftime poo. I feel like Shane.......i shouldn't have to be forcing this, but I am none the less.

@clob94 I find that flax seed helps me deal with the angry constipation brought on by our execrable offense.

Nice win. Offense was still a struggle. It was nice to see some creativity with the play calling though. Carter and young both are the future at RB. They are your play makers. I get the feeling maybe Herman doesn’t like playing freshman much but these guys should be getting the carries.

If the last two weeks are any indication John Burt III is finally starting to hold onto the ball on a consistent basis. Maybe he can be trusted now.

And as to above comments on our remaining schedule all of them are winnable now. There's no reason that our defense can't do to TCU what ISU did today. I mean TCU's offense didn't even score a td. And ISU only needed 14 points to win. And hey the TCU game is going to be on national tv on Saturday night. I hope they have Tessitore/Blackledge doing the game. Coach Herman said the first big win would be winning a game they aren't supposed to win. We came up just a little bit short vs SC,OK, and OSU. TCU is another opportunity with a perfect setting. Maybe this is our coming out party.

And hey westtx you were right Kenny Hill is not a prime time qb.

Oh and a little bit of horn history. People are talking about the Baylor qb Charlie Brewer's dad playing for Texas.

Robert Brewer was the best qb in the Akers era. He was the star when Texas beat a Bear Bryant Alabama team in the Cotton Bowl. We were behind 10/0 going into the fourth quarter. RB ran for two td's and we held on to win 14/12. It was the biggest win in the Akers era.

While typing this it reminded me that I watched this game on the Armed Forces network.

I agree. Our team should be more motivated now to win that one.
