I went out to eat at a Mexican food place restaurant yesterday. After they brought the chips and salsa I sat and watched the servers while waiting for my food.
- They placed my utensils on top of the menu. The most unclean place of anywhere around the table. Then took the order for drinks.
- They then helped to bus a table close to us. As I watched this I realized that they were handling other people’s plates and glasses. Never washed their hands once during this time.
- Their hands over a 15-30 minute period went from the bar to our tables to dirty dishes to their pockets to their top counter (where all the other servers were also picking up food and touching) to shaking hands to a pat on someone else’s back to..., you get the idea.
