1. Texas has done a good job of addressing portal needs so far
In this column last week, I listed punter as the number one area that Texas needed to address in the transfer portal, just ahead of kicker and defensive tackle. The UT staff made quick work in securing a pledge from former Utah punter Jack Bouwmeester, a two-time All-Conference selection in his time with the Utes.
