Mascots are as integral as rivalries to the lifeblood, history, and pageantry of college football. I would argue that BEVO is the single iconic mascot in college football.
Given that, it is astonishing that the SEC would play its championship game in a stadium that cannot facilitate BEVO. As if that isn't enough, the College Football Playoff signs up the same stadium to host TWO playoff games on Texas' road to the National Championship.
Where is the foresight? Are the Longhorns now in a conference that cannot ever facilitate BEVO at a Conference Championship game? It is asinine.
