The BEST Version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”

Well my friends, it’s that time of year. Christmas. Of course, that means watching the scores of Christmas movies out there. My favorite? A Christmas Carol.

But there are several versions. My favorite? The 1951 version with Alistair Sim. He is, was, and always will be the best Scrooge ever. And what a magnificent actor he was. At a time when there was little nuanced and layered acting, his portrayal of Scrooge was just that. And the movie itself was and is the most authentic.
