I had forgotten about this until I just watched the replay. We were methodically driving down the field in the final minutes. OU had no timeouts. First down at the OU 35, and Bowman drops to the ground.
Our drive stalls, and even though we made the FG there was time for OU to come back. Yes it’s still on our ST and defense for allowing OU to score, but that Bowman move may well have changed the outcome.
