The injury news feels like a gut punch. I think this is a pretty salty squad with Ewers under center. However, a few thoughts I have had.
- I can't imagine Ewers misses OU if he is anywhere near 80%. If that is the case, there is not a better 3 game stretch for his absence than this one. UTSA will treat this like their super bowl, but it's still UTSA. Tech being in Lubbock is ominous, but their OL is putrid. WVU might be the worst team on the schedule outside of ULM.
- I might be making this up, but I think Anwar had a note that Charles Wright wasn't half bad. It's a big step down, but the kid isn't some joke. Sark can scheme around this with the talent we have on the outside.
