The are coming and they will come with an attitude so we best be ready or it could be a discouraging game to watch. They run the ball well and we can't stop jack so Saturday could be a disaster to watch. Sam better light them up passing wise for about 5 touchdowns. Kansas will score at least 27 points on us if we play defense like we did against OU.

Tell you what if Kansas scores 27+ legit (not trash) points on us I’ll stop posting for a month.

If KU scores 27+ nontrash points, that is going to be a game closer than all of you desire. We have scored too many trash points this season; the only exception was our game against Boston College.

But if you ask some of our fans, on our Rivals forum, they are "hoping to see" a lot more nontrash points, thanks to our OC change.

We’d be taking a huge step backwards. Yes our secondary is giving up some yardage. Yes we have a lot of injuries. No I don’t think we give up 27+ points and No I don’t this game is close.

I know of UT's record after a RRS loss, but one thing I do know is the halftime score of the last two KU @ UT games.
  • 2015: 59-20
    • First Half score: 24-14; we scored a TD mid 2nd Q, UT fumbles ball in next possession in their territory. We get to their 1 us line and do not score a TD on 4th down. UT punts out of their end zone the next possession; we miss a 26 yd FG to end the half.
  • 2017: 42-27
    • First Half score: 35-17; we kick a FG in the 3rd Q to make it 35-20. It stays there for awhile, but they pull out the win.
Both years, we simply lacked experience, size, speed, AND depth. We are reasonably healthy, and have enough experience to once again make the first half interesting, especially if the UT players overlook us.

You must still believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Perhaps you should just stick to being a basketball fan of KU. You will be a lot less disappointed by not setting yourself up for disappointment in thinking that KU football can compete in the Big 12.

Yes, I do believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. How many turnovers did your offense handwrap and gift to us in 2016?

In addition, how much money is UT placing under our pillow, to play on the LHN? Enough money to finish the payment we owe our recently dismissed OC Les Koenning.

I am just being real; I follow KUFB more than KUBB. On our football board, over 90+% of the posters fully believe that UT will win the game. We just want to see our offense not do too many more run-run-pass-punt possessions, and definitely fewer I formations. As for our defense, no one stands out on the DL, our best LBs are not playing, and our DBs have dropped at least 10 potential INTs in the first 6 games.

If you blow us out, it happens, but anything is possible. For your sake, I hope the players do not give the same amount of attention to KU as the media members did during Sherman's press conference earlier this week; no one asked a question about KU, if I am right.

You've got a good coach in Les Miles. I hope that Kansas football can get back to being respectable in the near future.

As @TeamRamRod1 would say, we just hope that our AD stops getting in the way. It sounds like he "convinced" Miles to hire Les Koenning, after losing Chip Lindsey. None of us fans were excited about that high profile hire.

You have a whopping 3 more Big 12 football championships than KU.

Settle down. You're victory in football over us came just about as often as our victories in basketball come over you. I have a lane, you have a lane, try and stay in it.

i dunno, there for a while, back when we had a real coach and everything, we were THE thorn in their side in the conference. they won more than us, but it wasn't unusual for us to get them. now we have a rah-rah guy and we get drubbed like everybody else in the conference. when they beat us in football, it closed the door on charlie, so i'd call that a win in the long run.
