--- Anwar has spoken with multiple sources who have said DB Parrish Cobb has not visited with the UT coaches on Sunday.

From what Anwar was told, Cobb is in Austin visiting a friend, but still has not made it over to campus for a visit with the Texas coaches. Cobb is contemplating Oklahoma and Texas at this point, with a goal of being able to enroll for the second summer session. It's possible he doesn't make any visits before dead period begins on Monday, unless he changes his mind while in Austin and swings by the football offices for a visit.

But as of 10:30 Sunday morning, he has not met with the UT coaches.

--- Nothing new to report on Patrick Hudson. As we first reported yesterday, Hudson's visit to OU was an official visit. There have been rumors that he may stop by Austin today, but the source who I've been talking to, and who has been spot on, has not mentioned a UT visit.

I still think Texas is the team to beat here, but this one is pretty tough to predict. I was told yesterday, during the OU visit, that Texas is still the team to beat.

Dead period starts on Monday, so today is the last day for on-campus visits. Prospects can still talk to coaches on the phone though.

--- RB Kam Martin visited Auburn yesterday. He's at TCU today. He told AL.com that he was pretty much down to those schools. Martin's usually very easy to reach, but he went silent on me a couple days ago, which was a pretty good indicator of where Texas fit in with him. His situation was more about scholarship numbers .... Texas just didn't have room.

--- In a bit of good news, UT offensive line commitment Xavier Newman tells me he did not visit Oklahoma this weekend. This one is still worth watching closely as things move forward, but no OU visit is obviously good news for UT.
