Malik looked damn good today. He has a rifle over the middle and showed some very good touch on those two deep balls. I didn’t expect the latter. Toss in his long standing reputation for leadership and likability in the locker room, and the kid has some juice.

What happens in 2024/25 if Malik is legitimately better than Arch? Do you start him and let Manning transfer?

I understand this is way premature. But it’s an entirely possible scenario. And I don’t think “let the best man play” is so easily applied when the entire world will be starving for Manning.
