I've mentioned this before when it happened last month, but on Moore's last visit, he was doing interviews and the subject of quarterback play came up.

With KJ Lacey in town at the same time, he was asked about how important the quarterback in the recruiting class was to him... keep in mind that national No.1 Bryce Underwood is committed to LSU.

Moore's response was that the quarterback in his class meant far less to him than who the QB1 was at whichever school he was going to choose. He basically said it would be cool if the quarterback in his class ends up being the starter, but until that happened, all he really cared about is who the actual starter was.

Maybe I'm projecting a little and maybe I'm not, but it indicated to me that he cared a lot more about who was already on campus at the schools he was considering and less about players that might not be ready to play in year one, which is when he plans on playing.

That seemed like a big advantage for Texas because of that Arch fella.
