Who made The Oklahoman’s initial Super 30 rankings for the 2026 recruiting class?

The Division I offers are trickling in for 2026 football recruits across the state.
With their senior seasons approaching, it’s time to take an initial look at The Oklahoman’s 2026 Super 30 rankings of the state's top recruits. The list will be updated throughout the next year, including for the annual summer feature series on each player.
Here are the initial rankings:
1. Tajh Overton, DL, Owasso

Overton played a massive role on Owasso's defensive line to help guide the team to the Class 6A-I state title game. He's a four-star recruit with offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, OU, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and others.
2. Mason James, WR, Norman North
James is a four-star prospect and the top-ranked receiver statewide. He holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Michigan, OU, OSU, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among others.
3. Kaydin Jones, RB, Jenks
Jones, the son of former OU running back Kejuan Jones, is one of the best players statewide and among the most coveted running backs in the country. The four-star recruit currently holds offers from Alabama, OU, Oregon, OSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.4. Colton Yarbrough, DE, Durant
Yarbrough, who committed to Arkansas ahead of his junior season, is a four-star prospect who chose the Razorbacks over Colorado, Georgia, LSU, Miami, OSU, Oregon, Tennessee, USC and others.5. Braeden Presley, DB, Bixby
The younger brother of Tulsa receiver Braylin Presley and former Oklahoma State receiver Brennan Presley, Braeden picked up his first offer in July from Tulsa and his recruitment has only gained steam since. He later received offers from Arkansas, Boston College, Kansas, Kansas State, Maryland, OU, OSU, Purdue and Texas Tech, among others.6. Landen Anderson, DL, Edmond Santa Fe
He announced his commitment to Kansas on Jan. 27. Along with the Jayhawks, Anderson holds offers from Iowa State, OSU, Tulsa and UNLV.7. Adam Auston, DB, Lawton MacArthur
Auston is a three-sport athlete at Lawton MacArthur and three-star recruit who committed to Arkansas in August.8. Daijon Gaines, DB, Tulsa Union
A safety, Gaines has 16 Division-I offers. Among them are Power Four schools Arizona, Baylor, Boston College, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, OSU, Purdue, UCF and Utah.9. Dejon Ackerson Jr., LB, Putnam City
A linebacker with great speed, Ackerson’s first offer was from OSU last month. Following the Cowboys were Boston College, Kansas State, Maryland and OU, among others.10. Cord Nolan, LB, Bixby
He played a big role in Bixby’s state championship run as he recorded 108 tackles on defense and caught 35 passes for 522 yards and four scores at tight end. Nolan has offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Purdue, Stanford and Texas Tech, among others.
11. Nehemiah Kolone, DL, Stillwater
Kolone won a state championship as a freshman at Stillwater in 2022. The three-star recruit holds offers from Arizona, Baylor, BYU, Kansas State, OSU, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
12. Trey McGlothlin, LB, Bixby
His first Division-I offer was from Texas Tech in September, but that was just the beginning. Later joining the Red Raiders were Arizona State, Boston College, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, OSU, Utah and UTEP.13. Daniel McMorris, OL, Norman North
McMorris had a strong season on Norman North's offensive line as a junior. He's since received offers from Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Memphis, Minnesota, Texas Tech, Tulsa and UTEP, among others.14. Kenny Golston, RB, Valliant
Golston is mainly being recruited at running back, although he does play linebacker and some schools are interested in him on the defensive side. His offer list includes Missouri, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State, among others.15. Ricklan Holmes II, LB, Del City
He has started at Del City since he was a freshman while shining with the Eagles. Arizona State, Baylor, Iowa State, OSU and Washington State are among the list of schools that have offered Holmes, whose father played at OSU.
16. Aiden Martin, OL, Berryhill
His massive frame and instincts on the offensive line have led to Martin becoming one of the most coveted linemen statewide. He currently holds offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
