I have no idea if it's actually true or not, and not that it matters, but the memes and gifs of Sumlin and alcohol is pretty standard procedure across the UT boards. It's a pretty widespread joke.

Google 'Kevin Sumlin Drunk' and it's literally the first thing that pops up. He's reported widely to be a raging alcoholic. Vodka tonics.
