Remember a poster on here that talked with his buddy from Washington and said we'd hate him in year 1 & 2 and then love him after that.

Very prophetic - after year 1, I doubt anyone on OB thought Texas Defense would be this good much less ranked #1 in the nation.

Even after last year and losing our 2 DTs to the draft and a shaky Defensive Backfield that got exposed in the semi-final game, very few if anyone thought our D would outperform our Offense or even be ranked in the Top 25 of defenses.
