Dana was poached by Nebraska. Eventually, Bible was poached by Texas in 1936. Dana brought Texas football to national prominence as a head coach and he spent another 10 years at Texas as AD.
As AD, he brought back to back nattys in baseball in ‘49 and ‘50.
