I went to my first Texas game in 1963 when I was 8. It was against Baylor and Darrell Royal first national championship team. Boy I'll tell you fb was a different game back then there was a dozen limp offs that game. And until 2001 I usually went to at least one game a year.
But the tailgates didn't have the kind of atmosphere that they have in the SEC. By that I mean with exception of a few aggie and Arkansas games we weren't playing any top ten teams.
This Saturday is what's great being in the SEC. Number one against number 5. Georgia fans were on here saying expect a sea of red and they do travel well a lot of SEC teams do. We gotta make sure they see all the burnt orange in the stadium. We can start seeing at least one top ten team every year at memorial stadium. I'm envious of you guys on here that will see the game in person. I hope they're fool enough to bring UGA to the game. If they do they need to make sure Bevo greets him. Beat the hell out of them dawgs and
