The team recognized it's lack of maturity and more importantly the discipline it takes to be a champion.

Starts with 3 important starters losing focus and having to be disciplined.
Maybe our undeserved ranking got to our heads.

But, this is something the coaches can build upon.
Good second half fight that was again stalled by our own mistakes.

Brandon Jones pulling a Nathan Vasher and receiving a punt inside the 5.
An unnecessary hold in the end zone forcing us to punt.
Sterns falling and taking out Johnson on their last TD. Without that, they are held to 3.
Forgetting about the QB on the last 3rd down.

We are still in control. We win out and we win the conference.

hage is a clown show. he should be stripped of the captaincy for that chicken sh!t he pulled tonight at the end of the game and Herman should be ashamed of himself for acting the way he dd.
I’ve always thought Herman was a good hire but I admit what he did at the end looked bad.was he trying to fight Gundy? What was he upset about?

I agree on Brenda, he is certainly a sideshow. I have to disagree on Herman. Dude cares about wins. There are so many fat boring coaches out there that don't care. Give me the guys who have a bit of a temper over the the guys with the appetite down at the tasty diner.

Admittingly, I was drunk as chit at a Halloween party and did not see anything after the last OSU td. What did T Herman do?

The melee was television gold. Oh to be a lip reader on this night, but I’m pretty sure Herman wasn’t asking The Mullet if he had any spare bottled water lying round. For his part, Gundy turned toward his fans and raised both hands like Sugar Ray Leonard used to after win. Both later spoke glowingly of the other. Nice and neat like.

“I thought Mike had come out and was having words with one of our players,” Herman said. “I took exception to that and when I shook his hand at the end, he said, ‘Hey I was just trying to make sure we were smart and no fight ensued.’ I believe him. We smiled. We go back. I have no issues. He told me what he was trying to do. I saw it differently at first and I was certainly going to go defend my guys.”

Foster and sterns are freshmen, they do make mistakes but the Hagster is supposed to be the leader of our D. Same goes with our senior cb's.

I realize that. But that was a huge play in a huge moment and he couldn’t bring down Cornelius. Now I know Cornelius is a superior athlete in every way, but one would expect a starting player regardless of classification to make such a play.

What did Hager do wrong?

Agree on the Herman part. Glad to have a coach that doesn’t back down and will defend his team to the death. It’s not what champions do it’s what they don’t do. Champions never back down and they never quit, unless it’s cable.

With all do respect what was Herman defending his team from? The video I saw shows yalls rush lb be unsportsmanlike on the victory formation? Seems to me that Gundy would have had a right to be pissed but I didn’t see Gundy confront any Texas players. Was Herman concerned Gundy was going to beat up Hager? Not sure where defending his team rhetoric comes in, seems like it was wrong on all fronts?

Dude, you are a bit slow. Yes, it looked as if Gundy was starting a fight so herman interceded.

You think Gundy was starting a fight with a 250 lb linebacker? You serious Clark? Dude look. Emotions run high, no doubt. Herman was probably pissed he just lost but you can’t go lunging at the opposing coach when YOUR guy is the one who was the unsportsmanlike player. You can clearly see Gundy is trying to corral his guys, good grief

It’s a little different from the sideline I’m sure.

It’s not a big deal. Good grief indeed

No but he and his mullet have no business on the field.

Why didn't your quarterback shake hands

Why didn't your quarterback shake hands with Ehlinger?

Funny thing about recognizing your lack of maturity--- you have to actually BE mature to recognize your lack of maturity.

Did Brenda look like he had recognized it?

He didn’t do much he just ran a play at the end of the game when people thought he should just lay down. Not in his DNA.

Honestly I'm not sure if you're serious or not here but equating a head coach lunging at another head coach to a qb not shaking hands with another qb is quite a stretch Imo. Look, I've always had good things to say about Herman on here or any message board. I've never said one negative word, anyone can search that. I don' t really care about the whole deal but to hear that he was defending his player made me question what on earth he would be defending his player from other than defending his player from taking the grief that his player brought on himself.

“Lunging at another head coach” LOL they were like 50 yards apart. Take a lap.

NO STRECH

Wearing out your welcome I see... 48-45 lol
No I don't think so my friend. Trust me, I am rooting for Texas to win out, helps our strength of schedule and a second meeting would be great. still no excuse for what he did or Hagar.

You wish you had a coach with that kind of fire. I haven’t been able to listen to a complete sentence by Riley yet due to falling asleep.

You're assuming you win out. @Tech, @WVU, OSU. None of those teams are going to lay over for little kyler.
