Today’s games?

Riley is a p&ssy who got outcoached in the 2nd half. He's soft and can't make adjustments. 3 man fronts and 8 man drops have totally confused him all year. Time for new blood at OU, he's regressing.
Eh Riley for the first time in his coaching career doesn’t have a QB that is plug and play, and it showed. Yes OU was 10-2 this year, but probably should of been 9-3 maybe 8-4. If Riley stays at OU Williams developing in to a QB will determine his future

Exactly right. Caleb Williams is a true freshman that just made his fifth or sixth start. He has all the talent in the world, and he will terrorize defenses for years to come, but it's asking too much of him to play like Mayfield or Murray or Hurts right out of the gate.

And Riley’s first crack and developing his own QB(Ratler) hasn’t exactly gone well. So it will be interesting

That's fair, and it's interesting to speculate as to what exactly went wrong in that situation.

People like to point at Rattler's NIL contract and say that ruined his attitude. But based on how he's behaved since he was benched, I'm not sure that's it.

I think Rattler just didn't look as good behind a re-tooled offensive line, and Riley knew he had a more mobile guy on the bench.

Yeah idk what went wrong, but I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a guy go from pre season Heisman fave and #[ pick to benched and probably transferring before. That is quite the fall. I mean he has to play in college somewhere next year. I’d think he wouldn’t be drafted very high I wouldn’t guess

Murray and Mayfield both were raw prospects when they got to OU. Riley deserves all the credit for molding them into number 1 picks. If they were that good before they went to OU they would have never transferred in the first place.

To me, this looks like the b12 was trying to get even with texas and ou. Mission accomplished, well done zebras.

Spoken like a true Sooner.
There’s questionable calls in every game maybe the fact that our offense squandered at least 6 offensive series in the 2nd half without scoring a point contributed to our loss? Horrible play calling by Riley I’m the 2nd half.

Yeah we’re not starting a true freshman because our starter got hurt we’re starting a true freshman because our OC/qb schemes were not conducive to our starter’s skill set, or any starters skill set for that matter.

Bell, any OU fans wanting to move on from Riley are nuts. He's a damn good coach and recruiter. Who are you going to get that's better? Careful what you wish for.

You’re right Riley is a good OC but not a good HC. Riley needs a strong willed HC that tells him what to do and when to do it. Left to his own devices we get shutout and shutdown in the 2nd halves

Riley is now a head coach and will never be an OC on the college level again. If you were the AD, who are the candidates that you would consider for the OU job? Again, IMO OU would be nuts to fire Riley or let him walk. As a Longhorn fan, I'd be more than happy to see him gone though.

He’s had OU in the playoff 3 of his 5 seasons and won 12 games 3 of the 5 years. You might want to be careful what you wish for. Like the old saying goes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the pasture. You’re crazy to say LR isn’t a good HC.

That’s the problem for OU. If Riley does leave for another college job or maybe the NFL there aren’t a lot of places for OU to turn. Would they go to Huepel?

Yep Riley’s been Big 12 good yay. How many of those playoff games has he won? Remember the Georgia playoff game? Shutdown in the 2nd half. Seems like a recurring theme against anyone with a defense worth a shit.

Yeah I get that Riley won’t be an OC on the college level again I’m simply using that as an example of what he needs.

That’s just a weird way of thinking honestly. 2 of the 3 playoff losses were against the eventual national champion. I guess you OU fans are just spoiled. Wanting to fire a coach who is 55-10 in 5 years is just silly to me. Did you want to fire Stoops as well after 5 seasons of not winning a championship??

OU had a history of not being able to compete outside the big 12. Even under Bob Stoops. Not sure what it is but that’s been a monkey on their back for a long time.

As do most schools not named Alabama. You don’t fire a coach who has won 55 games in 5 years. That just makes no sense.
