“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.” - Martin Luther

Have you ever had a friend or relative say something to the effect that the world is going to hell and that it would not be wise to bring any kids into our world anymore?

I think each generation may at times feel this is the worst of times and get nostalgic about the past. We live in a world of 24/7 news and most of it is bad news. No wonder the younger generation may feel there is no reason to bring children into the world.

I prefer to think the opposite. A new generation of kids that are raised properly can change the world for the better. Having two granddaughters and seeing how they are being raised well gives me great hope for the future.

Don’t stop planting apple trees my friends; they are the hope of the future!

P.S. I am taking a short break from posting TG, traveling back to Austin. @T-Sipper 1972 aka Mrs. T. will be posting the TG’s until I resume posting them on January 21st. Thank you Mrs. T.!
