I recently was able to witness a full moon rise over Angel Island that rests in the San Francisco Bay similar to the picture shown. The moonlight created a glittering (at first) burnt orange then white path to Angel Island from where we were staying. It was mesmerizing. I could look at it for hours if it would stay put, but over a short time the moon continues to rise, and the path is spread so wide it almost disappears. The sky was very clear, and the stars were out as well.
I couldn’t help but wonder why we get to see such amazing beauty in nature. I believe it’s a gift and a reminder that our Creator wants us to look up and realize that He has provided us with a beautiful world to enjoy.
Sometimes we get so busy on the ground level of our lives we forget to stop and look up and take in the sights and sounds of creation.
I encourage you to get outside and take time to enjoy nature, it can help reduce anxiety and remind you that our Creator is calling you to reconnect with Him.
