Are you a people pleaser?
I’ve been in sales for most of my life, it was in my DNA to help people find what they need. This character trait often carried over to my family and friends, sometimes to my detriment.
Our Creator calls us to focus on pleasing Him above all else. Each day we have many choices to make, many are small ones that we must make quickly, others are large ones that may take some time to figure out. Many of our decisions are based on habit, or a desire to please ourselves or others. This is not what our Creator has in mind.
He calls us to please Him in everything we do, not just major decisions. This is only possible by staying in close communication with Him. If we are in His presence, we will know almost instinctively what will be pleasing in His sight and what will be the right decision.
