Growing up I would count down the days to special days like Christmas, birthdays, and school holidays.
I never really thought about the current day I woke up to, except the things I HAD to do such as school work, chores around the house, and my paper route. Most of my thoughts were about the latter as well as sports and girls who I liked in my classes.
As the title of these daily threads implies, TODAY is a GIFT to all of us. When we wake up, we have a choice on how we want to spend our day. Some things we have to do, work, school, etc., but the free time we have can make a big difference for ourselves and others.
Let’s make them count!
