“If you’re going through hell, keep going.” —Winston Churchill

When times are tough it is a real challenge to find motivation to get up to face another day. I remember a time when I hated my work. I didn’t want to get out of bed and face tasks that had become too painful to endure. I needed to take a leap of faith and embark on a new career, but I had a family to feed and other financial obligations that made me feel trapped.

Finally, I decided to take that leap during my off hours from work. It was hard to let go of security but the freedom I felt kept me going and we made it out of what I considered “hell”.

Many of us have had similar struggles with work, health, additions, and destructive behaviors that create doubts in our faith. But it is exactly at those times when we can lean on our faith to get us through the hell we are enduring.

Be careful out there!
