In this era of social media, it’s pretty easy to portray oneself totally different than what one truly is inside and out. I have a lot of family and friends who post on Instagram, mostly the posts are about where they are traveling, what they are eating and drinking, or special events in their life that they want to document and show their followers.
Even on OB I suspect some portray a very different character than what they are in real life. Perhaps they want to escape a bit and be somebody else since they are anonymous. It’s funny though how OB never forgets, so be careful what you post on the board LOL.
I believe as the quote says, if you can’t tell the truth about yourself, then it’s hard to trust what you might say about others. I have friends on this board, so I know they will read what I post. I can’t afford to be dishonest, or I will get called out as one should be if exposed as deceitful.
