Life of Illusion
One of my favorite music artists is Joe Walsh. I was listening to his song that is the title of this TG and it reminded me of something I read in a devotional recently.
We need to give up the illusion that we “deserve” a trouble-free life. We all hope to have a resolution to all our problems. This is a false hope. Our Creator told us in His Word that in this world we will have troubles. Instead of seeking perfection in this fallen world, we are to seek the PERFECT ONE, our Creator.
I have found that when I have let go and let my Creator take over a challenging situation, that I find peace, no matter what the outcome. I believe He is more interested in our response than the right circumstances.
Psalm 112:4-7 & John 16:33
