Worship Him Only?
I put a question mark in my title since I’m not sure everyone believes in a Higher Power/Creator.
I have found that whatever occupies my mind can become like a god. Worries, if indulged, can develop into idols. Anxiety can gain a life of its own, parasitically infesting my mind.
We can break free from this if we occupy our minds with thoughts of our Creator and meditate on His Word. What we show on the outside can fool others, but He can read every thought in our minds. He is pleased when He sees evidence of our trust in Him. Guarding our thoughts will keep us close to Him and that is the best place we can be found.
Colossians 3:2 & Romans 12:2
