UNDERSTANDING
We’ve talked about being misunderstood, but how do we handle things we don’t understand. We tend to try to figure everything out ourselves and this attempt can often lead us to frustration.
Our Creator tells us to leave this task to Him even though we may not understand what is happening to us at any particular time, He instructs us to trust Him.
This world presents us with all types of problems and as soon as we master one, another pops up to challenge us. Even if we are able to solve one on our own, the relief is short lived. We may then seek to master another without seeking Him who we need to trust.
The wisest of all men, Solomon, could never think his way to peace; his vast understanding resulted in him having feelings of futility rather than fulfillment. He finally lost his way and succumbed to the will of his many wives by worshiping idols.
As we look to Him, we can gain that elusive peace we seek.
Proverbs 3:5-6, Romans 5:1, 2 Thessalonians 3:16
