Open Hands vs. Tight Grip
When things don’t go the way we want, our tendency is to tighten our grips on whatever we don’t want to let go of. A short list might be relationships, possessions, bad habits, and control. In order to let go of something precious to you, we need to rest in our Creator’s presence where we can be complete.
The more we relax our grip, the more we can release them into our Creator’s care. We can actually feel more secure in the midst of catastrophic changes. He is the one who will never leave us, who never changes for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We need to open our hands and allow our Creator to grasp your open hand where we are secure in His grip.
Open up to this promise my friends!
