Do You Sometimes Feel Misunderstood?

If I tried to count how many times in my personal relationships and in business I have felt misunderstood, it would be countless. Most of the arguments with my wife were based on the wrong assumptions on both sides. When new owners took over my business, the miscommunication on many issues led to me leaving my transitional contract one year early.

When my Dad died unexpectedly, people would try to tell me, “I know how I feel”. No, they did not. I appreciated their well-meaning statements, but they couldn’t know how I felt because not even my other siblings had the same relationship that I had with my Dad.

We are told that our Creator knows us intimately. He understands EVERYTHING about us, our hurts, our struggles, our joy, our sorrows, our comings and goings, when we rise and when we sleep. If you can’t find anyone that understands you, I encourage you to turn to your Creator who is there any time you call on His name.

He is THE ONE who understands you completely.
