Just Us or Justice
Often in life we find ourselves being treated unjustly. Sometimes there are people in authority over us that are mean, harsh, and cruel…unfair and unjustified in his or her treatment of us. What are we to do?
Our Creator’s Word tells us that Jesus learned obedience through His suffering. He also says, “You have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in is steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth: and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously” (1 Peter 2:21-23).
We can choose to follow Jesus’s example. Don’t sin by acting independently of God. Keep your mouth shut…no deceit, no reviling, no threats. Trust that God will act on your behalf.
