Perceptions
The A-Team was my son’s favorite TV show when he was young, age 4 to about age 6. The show was nonstop action from beginning to end, and he loved it. Years later he thought the show was hokey, silly.
As a child we see the world differently than we do today. We have had more experiences, some great and some disappointing or even disastrous. That person we thought was super cool in high school its today anything but cool. The person we thought was a looser is today a multi millionaire, a famous movie star/band member, or maybe a world-famous doctor.
It’s all about how we see things, our perceptions. In high school, and maybe still in college, we only saw what was on the surface. It wasn’t until later that we learned that appearances don’t always tell the entire story, that we needed to look deeper.
