"I have nothing to do with Russia" - Donald Trump
Things that make you go hmmm.
Turns out Trump had a business relationship with a Russian-born immigrant who was linked to the mob. His name was Felix Sater. In 2005 Sater handled all of the negotiations between Trump and Russian investors for a one-year development project in Russia. According to Mr. Sater he maintained communication with both Trump and his son, “When I’d come back [from Russia to the U.S], I'd pop my head into Mr. Trump’s office and tell him, you know, ‘Moving forward on the Moscow deal.’ And he would say, ‘All right.’ ”
But it gets better... Mr. Sater does not have a squeaky clean past, including working for a Mafia-linked brokerage firm. This was when he plead guilty to racketeering charges as part of a case involving stock fraud. Apparently due to his Mafia ties, Mr. Sater made a habit of threatening to kill business associates over disputes as well as use torture others over disagreements.
