Interesting on several levels. First, they aren’t closed, they have sick workers, so the issue is the virus not the government saying you can be opened or closed. This is a solution that misses the problem. The economy is not going to necessarily function just because the government allows (or orders) a business to open. We have to get the virus under control. That is the problem.
Another interesting aspect of this is that this is damn close to the government taking control of the means of production. I think this must be a proud moment for Bernie. lol.
