We have at least ont player that tested positive for covid19. Hopefully he recovers and everyone stays healthy.

the count so far is two with positive tests and one showing anti bodies....so he had it. I am not so cool with the idea of these young men risking their health so that I get the pleasure of watching football.

The issue with this disease is that some who get it apparently suffer some possible permanent damage to lungs and brain tissue. Then again you cant believe everything....maybe anything you read. Just because they are young and healthy is no guarantee they cant get a serious case.

I am not advocating anything here, I am simply putting up things I have read.

Things that have a higher rate of killing you than Covid 19:

Driving to work
Riding a bicycle
Anything involving a ladder
Being struck by lightening 1/3000 (seriously)
Murder
Yourself (yep, you're more likely to kill yourself in an act of suicide than Covid is)
Mosquito bites
Snakes (no kidding)
Falling down (clumsy bastard)
Drowning

All of these things are more likely to kill you than Covid 19.

Now I ask you, how have we made it this far as a species if shutting down our planet for a bug that doesn't even make the top 50 ways to die, scares us like little bi-ches into our fraidy holes?
