Talked to Coburn a bit ago. Here's what I'm putting in tomorrow's notebook:
*** Defensive tackle Keondre Coburn declined to sign with Texas during the early signing period but remains a member of the Longhorns 2018 class. Coburn's name is listed on the Longhonrs' commitment list and he intends to play his college football in Austin. That’s not to say he won’t have a final look around.
“I’ll most likely sign with Texas in February,” he said on Saturday, but then went on to outline his plan for possible visits. Coburn fully intends to take what he calls “a final look around.”
“I want to look at UCLA, TCU, probably Arkansas,” Coburn said. “Those mainly. Alabama would be a one I’d wanna go visit. I really don’t know right now, though.”
