Yes, I realize we are still almost an hour away from the first tee times but better early than late. Like always gonna be a LONG first two days at the US Open. Not sure what the weather projects but I'm sure there's a decent chance for the dreaded "marine layer" causes delays. Some tee times of interest.

JS goes out with Scottie and Zalatoris at 3:25 central. Start on the back 9.
BDC out with Hideki and Strafaci at 3:14
Koepka, JT, Morikawa out at 8:29
Rory, DJ, Rosey out at 3:36.

Love being able to watch prime time major golf.

I know I left plenty off so hop on in.

So we have to buy the Peacock channel to watch this morning?

Betting fave (+900) Rahm out in the late wave at 3:36 (back 9).

I'm not buying. But yes, Peacock starts coverage at 8:45 central. US Open website has featured groups starting at 9:28. GC starts coverage at 11:30.

I'm going with one of these sleepers.

Rahm
Xander
Morikawa
JS
BDC

Not feeling DJ (which probably means he wins it LOL). I think BK will hang around near the lead. Not feeling Rory.

I’ll be driving so I’ll just listen on PGA radio.

No one is talking JT. Wonder if he figures it out.

Sounds like he brought aboard a coach to help him with his putting. On an unrelated note, I saw Mathew Wolf on the range briefly during GC coverage on Tuesday. He looked completely disinterested and flailing at the ball. Pretty certain he ain't winning. LOL

Normally I would root for Spieth but since I’m fading him in my Draft Kings lineups, I gotta go with:

Hovland
Morikawa
Finau
Xander
Reed
Kokrak
Scott
Rose

How can you not like Xander Colin or cantlay as they’re all Cali guys who are all good balll strikers. Based on some of the analytics, Tory is a scramblers golf course so that favors reed and maybe spieth. I’m rooting for and taking Scottie this week. I think he can sneak in.

I am in Kiawah (not to brag) and won't watching much during the day. But the plus of being here is I will get primetime golf.

I ended up taking @THE_Ohio_HORN 's advice and fading Phil to miss the cut.

Outright picks are:
Brooks
Bryson
Cam Smith
Willy Z
Reed
Finau

Yeah, I'm going out on a limb with Rahm, Morikawa, and Brooks.

Watch out for Leishman. He has a fairly remarkable track record at Torrey. I like him a lot as a true long shot.

And once again, sadly, left off the golf call-out list for threads. 😢

Article on Matthew Wolff returning to play after 2 month absence. Seems like it requires some reading between the lines but my gut tells me he MCs this weekend. Guess we'll see.

Just want to be happy

Agree with
Morikawa & JS
If Jordan stays in the fairway he has a great shot this weekend

Good to see him back. Hope he has his head in a better place, whatever is going on. Probably too much too fast for a 21 year old.

Also further proof that the media is often way too prone to tagging someone the next superstar.

Play is underway after 90 minute delay of the start.

Odds are greater he will withdrawal from the tournament before he wins it.

He's a mental midget right now....

Pierceson Coody with a little tv time to start the day, looks like Parker had to Withdraw?

Wasn’t Pierceson the one who missed a couple rounds at NCAA Nationals or was that Parker also?
