UT Basketball....are we expected to be good?

We're a month from our first tip and I honestly haven't been following the recruiting or the portal.

How do we stack up this year? Will we be able to compete in the SEC.

I appreciate it, since I really have no clue. (and someone is bound to ask me at work and I want to seem like I have a clue)
