Any clue as to why the UT president and AD were at Kansas v Nebraska basketball game? Looking at the facilities?

Hopefully. Fenves has actually taken a keen interest in making sure that our next basketball arena is purpose-built rather than a giant multi-purpose mausoleum like the Erwin Center. Our next arena will have to be quite a bit smaller than Allen Fieldhouse if we want a consistently decent atmosphere, given the much weaker fan support at Texas, but there are still no doubt some good lessons for us in Lawrence for how to build a better arena.

Let's hope Fenves gets his wish.

Frankly, it had me wondering about possible realignment again. I'm not saying there is any good reason to reach that conclusion, but it had me thinking about it.

If you ever have a chance to go to a game at Allen field house you should do it. My family got me tix for Christmas a few years ago to the UT/KU game(we won). Super cool expierence though. If you are a sports fan it's defiantly worth going
